ClassesThe emphasis here is on promoting discipline, self-confidence, strength, agility, and coordination in a wholesome atmosphere—while also introducing the wonderful sport of gymnastics. These classes are carefully designed to motivate and challenge school-age children to develop specific skills, regardless of their level.
Toddler & Preschool Classes
School Age Recreational Classes
TeamLed by respected gymnast and sought-after coach Michael Durante, our team is made up of young athletes who have demonstrated talent, skills, work ethic, attitude and commitment—of the gymnast as well as the parents. BOOST team members train from four to 20 hours a week, making productive use of the entire BOOST campus including the Fieldhouse, the AquaDome, and the Fitness Center. The BOOST team, which currently includes girls at every level of competitive development, is part of the Junior Olympic program run by USA Gymnastics, the national governing body for the sport.
Pre-Team is an invitation only class and meets twice a week for a total of 4 hours. It is for girls ages 4 to 5 years old who show the potential to benefit from more intensive training. The expectations for skill development are higher in this group.
Our Team Director and Head Coach Michael Durante believes that “gymnastics is a sport that develops your child’s mind and body like no other sport can, while preparing them for success in school, life, social situations and virtually all other sports.
This expanded program provides area students fun, creative and healthy opportunities for success in the psychomotor and affective domains of learning. Our goal —create a positive learning environment that ultimately prepares students for life ahead.
CampsWe offer year-round, theme-based camps for ages 3-12: Summer, Fall Break, Holiday and Spring Break. In addition, we have Outta School Spot camps for school-age youth and Discovery Kids, our Parents’ Day Out program for preschoolers. Campers will meet new friends, have new experiences and, most importantly, have fun! All of our camps have great instructors, crafts, swimming (ages 5-12), obstacle courses in the BOOST Fieldhouse, and, of course, great gymnastics. Camps are convenient for parents and provide them with the peace-of-mind that comes from knowing their child is well cared for.

As BOOST’s Gymnastics Team Director, I’d like to personally invite you to join our collective effort to help create skilled athletes who respect our sport and perform it to the very best of their abilities. In my opinion, gymnastics is a sport that develops your child’s mind and body like no other sport can, while preparing them for success in school, life, social situations, and virtually all other sports.
Please know that our gymnasts learn more than just gymnastics skills. You can bet that each and every day we are working on time management, respect, discipline, teamwork, the importance of communication, and lots of “life lessons.” At BOOST Gymnastics, we are interesting in helping produce great young people; not just great athletes.
On the personal level, I get tremendous satisfaction from finding just the right words and drills to help gymnasts “make the connection” and finally understand and learn an important new skill. The process of hitting on that magical combination of words and movements is an art form all unto itself, and I take great pride in making the pieces all come together.
Finally, a word about our facilities at BOOST Gymnastics. From the convenient parking just outside the entrance, to the comfortable and welcoming reception area, to our gym’s spacious layout and quality equipment, we’ve worked hard to think of everything to make your family’s experience here a positive one.
We look forward to seeing you soon at BOOST Gymnastics!
